Parker’s First Day of Kindergarden
The day has come. Our oldest boy has started kindergarten! I am so excited for Parker to start this new chapter in his life. For me all I can do is have faith and a whole lot of prayer! This verse is something I will be repeating in my head..
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:6-7
He is in God’s hands. Here are a few pics of the day….
He posed for some pics to please his mama
My sister in law started us on doing jumping pictures.
He is not a real high jumper but we are working on it..
Nate was able to be there to put him on the bus and when he got off the bus.
I love these pictures and the conversations between these two.
You can just see the love they have for each other. It brings me to this verse:
“We love because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
He was more excited to ride the bus then go to school…..
I found this prayer by an author of a book I am reading:
This is great for my Parker. We are going to say this or a version of this every day before school. WELL That is my goal……we will say a prayer of some sort even if we are running down the road to the bus!! 🙂
Now we can’t forget about the other two kidos.
They were taking naps when Parker got on but they were there to pick him up. The bus ended up being almost an hour late!! We decided to make the most of it….
Its amazing how differently these kids act when big bro is not around but as soon and Parker comes they are all about him. It really helps to see that and to remind my self to help Parker build his leadership side through his brothers.
Teacher said there were a few things to work on but over all a great day. Hopefully more to come!
